Wearing Old Pieces - Kate Spade's Poppy Collection
Kate Spade's poppy collection from almost a year ago was nothing short of whimsical and feminine. I figured I'd share a few of the pieces I picked up, especially since they're still selling them. Bonus: they're all on sale! While the collection was debuted in August of 2017, the style is too stunning to pass up--plus, no one can ignore a sale. However, if you're not in the mood or market for that sort of floral style, then their monochromatic styles are absolutely gorgeous. Check out two different looks that include a few different items from the captivating selection below.
Look number one:
The pants are super comfortable, loose cut, slightly high waisted...and the poppy embroidery and unique cuffs make them even more extraordinary. They paired perfectly with a lace blouse, and can we talk about those sleeves? It's on sale right now too. Word of the wise, make sure that you have a tank top or other undergarment to pair with it. My heels...ugh. They add color in a way that's muted yet exciting. Plus, they're very comfortable. The scarf is a light, beautiful accessory that adds to the look without clashing--plus, like any type of scarf like it, it makes me think of Audrey Hepburn. I also accessorized the look with a pair of gold chihuahua earrings and a pretty floral watch from the same collection.
LOOK NUMBER TWO:
This outfit is a spring dream! I paired my favorite heels; silver, flower drop earrings; and the Poppy Holland Strap Watch (a detail from my first look) with the main event, the Poppy Jacquard Dress. I love the color variation between the poppies, and the exquisite neckline.
Shop the poppies (everything but my purse and scarf--I've shared another one--are available...and it's all on sale!) in my outfits and a few of my other favorites:
